5 Day Tour Itinerary
Day 1 York - Edinburgh
An early morning departure and drive to Medieval York. Visit the Jorvik Museum and discover what life was like 1000 years ago, then on to the famous York Minster Cathedral. York was recently voted the UK's most popular city. Stunning attractions, fantastic shops and over 365 traditional English pubs means there is something for everyone. After lunch we depart York and head to Scotland, arriving in Edinburgh early evening. Check in to the hotel, and then join the guide for a walking tour. Overnight in Edinburgh
Day 2– Edinburgh
A full day in Edinburgh, Scotland’s Capital City. Time to see the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, St.Giles Cathedral, Royal Yacht Britannia, the Scottish Parliament, National Museum of Scotland and end the day with some shopping. In the evening the guide can arrange a Whisky distillery Tour with some tasting! Overnight in Edinburgh
Day 3 – Edinburgh-Manchester
An early departure from Edinburgh and drive to Manchester. We begin with a visit to the home of Manchester United, Old Trafford football Stadium, where we have a guided tour. Then into the centre of this bustling city and visit one of the many museums on offer (Museum of Science & Industry, Urbis). We depart Manchester after dinner and drive towards Oxford. Overnight en route to Oxford.
Day 4 – Oxford-London
A walking tour of this historic city with entry to Christ Church University buildings (where Harry Potter was filmed) and the Ashmolean Museum. In the afternoon we head to London. On arrival there will be sightseeing drive with photo stops. The group will see Tower Bridge, Tower of London, St.Paul’s Cathedral, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, London Eye, Westminster Abbey, Downing Street, Horse Guards, Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace. After the drive the coach will take the group for check in at your central London accommodation. In the evening join the guide for night out in Chinatown.
Overnight in London
Day 5 - London
A morning River Thames Cruise from London to Greenwich, and a visit to the famous Royal Observatory. Then back on the boat and cruise back down the river into London. In the afternoon there will be a visit to the British Museum, and then end the tour with some free time for shopping in Oxford Street, Regent Street or Covent Garden.
