York, Edinburgh and the Highlands - 4 Day Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - A day in the medieval city of York. Visit the Jorvik Museum and discover what life was like 1000 years ago, then on to the famous York Minster Cathedral, and end the day with Ghost Tour! York was recently voted the UK's most popular city. Stunning attractions, fantastic shops and over 365 traditional English pubs means there is something for everyone.
Day 2 - Depart York after breakfast and head to Scotland. Upon arrival in Edinburgh begin with a coach tour with photo stops, followed by check in to your accommodation. After check in the guide will take you on a walking tour of this beautiful city, named the ‘Athens of the North’ for its stunning architecture and beauty. Evening free to enjoy Edinburgh.
Day 3 - An early breakfast and then on to the coach for a full day trip to Loch Ness and the Highlands. On the journey we make a stop at Edradour Whisky distillery for a guided tour and some whisky tasting and then on to Loch Ness. First stop is Urquhart Castle on the banks of Loch Ness, followed by a visit to the Loch Ness Monster Exhibition, and finally a drive around Loch Ness and some areas of stunning Highland scenery before returning to Edinburgh.
Day 4 - A full day in Edinburgh. Recommended places to visit include Edinburgh Castle, Dynamic Earth, Palace of Holyrood, Scottish Parliament, National Museum of Scotland, Royal Yacht Britannia and much, much more. Edinburgh is full of fantastic attractions
